Aging Beauty

Recently I have become hooked on yet another sit com. Hot in Cleveland in my mind mixes Betty White with Nina Van Horn; places them in Cleveland & cracks me up. {so many great sitcoms are based in Ohio: Drew Cary Show, Glee & 3rd Rock from the Sun.} Betty White in particular got me thinking: She is exactly the kind of Lady I want to be when I reach my 90's. In the industry I work in I am lucky to meet lots of aging ladies, some so miserable others just plain effervescent. I want to be sassy like Betty White; someone who isn't afraid of age but instead embraces it and uses it to her advantage.
That said, there happened to be an article on her in Sundays paper, the quote that stood out (& made me laugh out loud) when asked if there was something that she hadn't done but always wanted to her answer was simple: "Robert Redford".

That said, in watching The Killers last week (a fun no-brainer I would recommend for a few laughs), it occurred to me how much more attractive Ashton Kutcher has become with age.

Aging gracefully and learning to embrace the wisdom and expertise that comes with age is something too commonly feared I think & something we all should aspire to be comfortable with.
