My parents are avid gardeners. They love it. This afternoon i discovered these trees and think they are so cool. As the name suggests, Fruit Salad Trees (an Australian innovation) grow up to eight different fruits on one tree. Being the citrus fan i am i would go for the one that grows oranges (summer & winter), lemons, limes, mandarins, grapefruits, tangelos and pomelos. Can you imagine from one tree you could get a variety of juices, sorbets, breakfast fruits, cocktail garnishes and homemade lemonade. Wouldn't this make such a great housewarming present? I think so.
