Im not going to lie, i love a good British accent. My English cousin visited recently and i just loved hearing her speak (sounds creepy i know). Anyway, for quite some time now i have taken to saying a few British terms (much to my brothers dismay).
The first, largely inspired by Love Actually is 'Bollocks'. I just love everything about this word. It is fantastic!
The second is 'Brilliant' or as Maurice Moss would say 'Brie-liant'. I love the way brilliant sounds in an English accent, even if it is my own faux attempt.
The reason i am sharing this, is because today an Englishman came into work (quite a young, hansom one mind you), I served him and the last thing he said to me was Brilliant. My heart almost stopped. Marry me, please?
As soon as he had turned his back I caught my brothers attention (yes we work together) and explained my excitement to be met with a 'your such a loser'.
Putting it out there; it made my day!
Are there any accents you love?
