Christmas is literally around the corner and I cannot wait! For the first time in several years I do not know (I have absolutely NO idea!) want Santa will bring so that makes it all extra exciting! Plus my presents are the biggest and the smallest so that can only be a good thing!
A few Christmassy things that have caught my attention this year, I know I'm a little late but I have 12 Christmas Posts for the 12 days of Christmas (clever - I know!).
So; NUMBER ONE - Decking the Halls
Fairy lights are a Xmas decorating must for me! They provide a shade of light that has a magical feel about it! But I also love the idea of paper lanterns. Ones like these are a lovely take of the traditional paper lanterns that have cardboard Santas hanging from them, are stored easily and make for easy mid-year dinner party decorations.

This is a very clever, chic idea that is so simple yet eye catching. Its the typical red and green but isn't tacky. A wreath light fixture that looks lovely and would smell even better I imagine.
The other thing that Declares its Christmas is a wreath! Because its so warm over here live ones stand little chance- but there are more and more inventive ones each year. We've have lolly ones, paper ones, wooden ones- there are so many choices but regardless of what you choose they are a definite must!
