I have once again been online window shopping and decided I am going to add these Jammies and the shoes above to the list of things I quite like, along with that pretty red dress I mentioned last week.
I see a lot of myself in Ernie, possibly because my twin brother bares an uncanny resemblance to Burt. Regardless, I love their dynamic and these PJs made me smile.
And the shoes. I love the Idea of lovely shoes. Red shoes. Ironically just earlier this week I bought the Wizard of OZ to read on the plane. I think everyone should have a pair of red shoes.
I am pale. Ghostly really so bright fire engine red isn't such a great look but these dusty red shoes are near perfection. I am quite partial to suede heels and they are a closed toe. Sold!
Rambling aside, the reason they sparked my interest was because earlier this week I went shopping with the rents. They bought me a party dress to take over seas. They told me it is so that I can think of them whenever I wear it. I thought that was lovely. It is a tailored fifties-esque silhouette. Tapered waist, complete with bow. Full skirt that makes me feel like twirling everywhere. It is patterned in combination of deep red and mauve grays (which sounds hideous) but these shoes would be a perfect match. I am fan of color co-ordination.
Oh Britain, I am already falling in love with you!
