Wellies!

I just got off the phone with an English cousin of mine who is lovely & just as excited for my trip as I am!

She was wonderful and helped me with my mini stress attack re. budgeting but like every other person I've told I'm going to be temporarily moving to the UK she told me I had better brace myself for winter. Whilst I have had the pleasure of seeing snow I have never had to live with it persay and knowing that one of the things I dislike most in the world is having wet socks (my family can attest that it makes me a miserable miserable person to be around) I'm thinking it is definately going to be worth while investing in a good pair of wellingtons/ gum boots. Hunter seem to be the best going around & have amazingly lovely designs that I find quite flattering and nothing like the grossly oversized bright mustard ones I would wear whilst climbing trees and trekking swamps as a kid! Other winter accessories that I've never really had to use include gloves and thermals both of which I have a feeling will become permanent additions to my daily wardrobe!
