Packing

They say in traveling halve what you intend to pack and double your money.

Today I spent the day trying to work out what to pack. I will be visiting 12 countries for 9 months in total, I will spend 6 months studying through 3 different seasons with 1 suitcase. Where to even begin?

Contiki provides a suggested list that I started adding too and after having been through all my draws/wardrobes and read about past experiences, I think I have just about decided on what it is I will be packing. I know though that I will leave something of great importance behind but so long as I have undies, a toothbrush, a camera and my passport I can make do.

Any suggestions? Things you wouldn't leave home without or things you have taken and then never used?

I'm getting excited!

One of the girls from Uni who is also studying at Leeds left today! Thoughts are with her for a safe flight!
