Ladies and Gentlemen,
So it is now the first week of August and this will be my first blog post of 2011 which is horribly horribly lazy on my half.
This year so far has been a whirlwind, well it seems to have been and yet the consistency in my life far outweights the change I have thus far witnessed.
In other global news so so much has happened:
Our thoughts and prayers have been with those devasted by the natural disasters in Brazil, Chile and Japan and the bombings of Norway . We have witnessed William aka "Big Willy" and Kate in what will no doubt be considered the royal wedding of the century, we have said goodbye to Amy Winehouse, Elizabeth Taylor and Osama Bin Laden. We have legalised Gay marriage in New York City (one of the most internationally influential cities!) and we have conducted the first completely artifically organ transplant.
That said we are still yet to reach the final quarter of the year and I am so so incredibly incredibly excited to announce that I will be spending it getting lost in Europe and the United Kingdom, places I have been dreaming about visiting for no less than fifteen years.
So this blog whilst it will be interjected with random curiousities will in essence become a travel memoir. A recollection of ideas and snapshots of the places I go, the people I meet and all things generally exciting. I look forward to littering your days with undoubtedly fantastical posts, so keep in touch.
Its been a Happy Happy New Year indeed.
xx
