Sharon Montrose is a wonderful animal photographer & my oh my has she shot (horrible pun) a variety of animals.
One of her latest prints is a Lion (A LION)! I love how she has captured the wonderful stillness of this no doubt awe inspiring creature (apparently he had a really soothing loud purr). What I love most though is the way he is sitting: as soon as I saw it I thought of our dog Tora who for some odd reason never learnt to sit on her hind legs but sits directly on her buttomsor her legs hang out in front. It is one of the things I love most about her (it shows her personality). Other shots I love are the baby giraffe, the baby porcupine, the camel and flamingos (I secretly love them all). I have no Idea where Sharon gets access to these animals but I think the clean backgrounds and wooden floors make them just that much better: wouldn't the baby deer make great wall decorations for a nursery and the reindeer a wonderful christmas gift? I think so!
