You are cordially invited...

I love balloons. I always have and always will and i think i have mentioned that several times already. As a quick side note expect many many more balloon posts in the future.

I came across this wedding invite and upon doing so automatically thought about stealing it. I think it would set such a fun tone for a wedding or any party really and the type used is pretty awesome as well.

Definitely a keeper (especially considering the knot pun).

On the topic of Weddings and Balloons. I also stumbled across some metallic letter balloons and thought if ever i was in the position where i had to do some elaborate proposal i think i would use balloons and clues. Like a treasure hunt! So that at the end you have a wonderful bunch of balloons that would spell 'marry me?' or something along those lines and would have had so much fun doing it and it would make for great memories and photo ops. That said i would never ever propose to someone unless i was 100% sure they felt the way i did.

All you have to do is youtube 'failed proposal' to see more than one rejection on big screen tvs at basketball games or game shows. I feel so sorry for those poor heartbroken people and always wondered if asked in public and you wanted to say no would you actually say yes first and then tell them later, would you say no straight out or like most on youtube would you run away (quickly) having said nothing but implied oh so very very much. Which leads me to question in rejecting a proposal are these people rejecting the entire relationship cause it would never ever be the same again.

Interesting, but the point of my rambling was that 1) how cool is the balloon invite and 2) if ever i had to elaborately propose to someone i would do it with a treasure hunt like this one and shiny balloons like these. i think.

xx
