Buried Treasure

So, the first of hopefully many posts about my op-shop finds.
My purchases were few this week but a gooden to say the least.

Its the Official Friends Cook Book.

For one dollar i now have a lovely published collection of recipes and related quotes that featured in the ten series of Friends.

I love Friends (so much so that i have the entire collection) and now have such an urge to host a Friends Dinner Party cooking from the book.

Its late (10pm i just walked in the door from uni), so i will update with more pictorial detail in the morning (as well as my woes from today; and what a day it has been!) but for now standouts include;
'Monkey Lovin; Mocha Mouthfuls'
"When the vet says that Marcel is gonna get vicious unless he has regular access to some 'Monkey Lovin', Ross has no choice but to send him to a zoo. And we all know that human, too can get pretty testy when denied proper affection. These tiny mocha cupcakes are the best substitute when love has been lost."

'Mr Geller's Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomatoes'
"I'll tell you one thing" says Jack. "I wouldn't mind having a piece of this sun-dried tomato business. Five years ago, if somebody had said to me 'Here's a tomato that looks like a prune; I'd have said 'Get out of my Office'. Who could have known?"

The segway seem corny and the recipes half decent, a good chuckle to be had i suspect.
